Has anyone attempted this without the egg? Or some kind of egg replacement? Looks yummy...I can not wait to try it out.

Sincerly,

Sorry! I should be more thoughtful of the international readership... one stick of butter is about 120 grams!

cheers!

Hi
Thanks for this - sounds delicious - I am just wondering how much a stick of butter is - I am in Australia and we don't have sticks of butter but it comes in packs - thanks so much

I'm drooling....but 2 questions first: do you think I could sub grapeseed or another neutral oil for the butter and brown sugar for the turbinado? Thanks!

This is one of the most inventive and tasty-looking dishes I've seen in a long time. It all goes together but is so creative. I just love black beans and sweet potatoes together...and quinoa goes so well with these South American foodstuffs...yumm!

We're having spiced quinoa "crab cakes" (gluten-free, vegetarian) at my wedding with roasted tomato and roasted red pepper dips/sauces later this Sunday!

I also make gluten-free quinoa "matzo balls" with scallions, spices, almond meal, and eggs. Totally awesome!

Keep up the good work! I added you to my Google Reader!
